We are excited to welcome you as a Small Group Leader at
Waypoint's Holiday Club.
You are the ones that make Holiday Club great, and we can't wait to see how God will use you to impact the lives of the next generation.
We know all of this can sometimes be a bit overwhelming, and you might be wondering if you are the right person for this.
All this is perfectly natural, and we will be with you every step of the way.
Holiday Club offers children the opportunity to get to know the Lord and to serve Him with their life.
This is a fantastic week full of adventure and a safe place to make new friends.
We are looking forward to taking a leadership journey with you during the week. We will equip you before the week
so that you are ready for the challenges and opportunities during the week. We will also have support staff available
to you during the week to assist you if needed.
Every child will be placed in a small group, with a high school learner or student as a small group leader. As a Small Group Leader, you will be responsible
for the care and safety of the children in your group. (If you are in Grade 7, you can be an assistant small group leader)
In addition to small group leaders, we have amazing adult volunteers that will help to
supervise and facilitate the program and activities.
In order for you to be a Small Group Leader, you need to:
Sign-up, print, and sign the Family Ministry Covenant
and bring it along with R250 (or POP) to the first Training event, 20 June at 18:00.

Training – There will be 1 training opportunities covering practical tips and expatiations, helping you to help the children in your group
to have the best possible Holiday Club experience. This session is compulsory, it is important to
make sure that we have the same foundation and will be to your benefit.

Décor week – During this week we will work hard, but also have a lot of fun preparing and setting up for Holiday Club.
Monday - Friday, 17 - 21 June; 08:00 – 13:00
Special Sunday Leader Event – You can’t miss this one. We will be going over the last arrangement for Holiday Club
and attend the Special Sunday Leader Event together.

Night of Worship – Come fill you cup!
Sunday, 23 June; 17:00 - 19:00
Holiday Club daily - You will receive a snack to match the theme of the day
and during break we will supply sandwiches, cookies/biscuits and cool drink to all kids and leaders.
Please bring 3 packets of cookies or biscuits for the week to share.

Games Night – Get to know your fellow leaders over some games and coffee.

Show and Tell Evening - Let us Show and Tell you what we were up to! Dress code - Under the Sea!

Closing celebration – Let’s celebrate the lives that has been change! Dress code – smart casual (Put on your dancing shoes).
